Alocasia Black Satun Stardust

Alocasia Black Satun ‘Stardust’ is a striking collector Alocasia known for its dark, dramatic foliage scattered with fine mint-to-silvery speckling. The variegation can create a distinctive “stardust” or galaxy-like effect across the leaf surface, giving each new leaf its own pattern and character.

Care Guide

Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun, particularly during the hottest part of the day, as this may scorch the foliage.

Water: Allow the upper layer of the growing medium to begin drying before watering again. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain freely.

Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity with consistent airflow. Avoid stagnant, constantly wet conditions.

Temperature: Keep warm, ideally around 18–28°C. Protect from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes.

Potting Mix: Use an airy, free-draining aroid mix that retains some moisture while allowing plenty of oxygen around the roots.

Feeding: Feed during active growth according to your fertiliser manufacturer’s directions. Reduce feeding when growth slows.
